Leaving a Legacy

The One Month to Live challenge really hits home today. At about 10:50 am today Amber's Nanna went home to be with Jesus.

You know when you lose someone you love, it really puts things into perspective. What really matters shines through bright and clear. It's the family and friends that you love; the people that you care for that are the real priority. It's living a life that really ment something, and leaving behind a lasting legacy that really makes the difference.

Even today as I am writing the message for Sunday, thinking about the 4th principle in the OMTL challenge (Leaving Boldy) I think about how Nanna left us. She really did leave behind an incredible legacy in the way she lived. Just by looking at her life you can see that she was focused on what really mattered.

She loved God with all of her heart. She was faithful to her church and spent her time doing God's work. She supported God's work with finances.

She loved her family. She raised her kids, and taught them the ways of the Lord. She loved her grandchildren and her dozens of great grandchildren, and she loved to spoil them. She even loved her grandson in law (that would be me). She was an amazing lady who left an incredible heritage for us, and a legacy for us to follow after.

I hope that at the end of my life, I will have left that kind of legacy.

We love you Nanna and you will be missed, but we know you are in a better place today. You are with our savior Jesus.

Please pray for Amber and myself as well as all the family in this loss. Thanks for all your love and support.

What a lady!! She beat everyone of us to see Jesus. What a time she must be having right now. We are praying for all of you and send our love. As stated by everyone else, let us know if we can help in anyway.
