Just a short and simple blog today. I read this verse the other day and thought I would share it with you all. I Corinthians 1:9 "God will surely do this for you, for He always does just what He says."
Always is a pretty powerful word. It's hard for us as human beings to even comprehend someone who always does what he says he will do. Even the people with the best intentions, and strongest character can sometimes let you down. Sometimes they can tell you they will do something and then forget of get busy doing something else and not come through. I have never known anyone who never quits, always follows through, never changes his mind or gets tired, but that is how God is. He always does what He says He will do.
The Bible says in Isaiah 40:28 "The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding."
Thank you God that You are always faithful even when we are not!

I always thank God that He's not inconsistent like I am. Short and sweet but that's possibly the easiest way to describe Him: Faithful. Faithful to love, to forgive, to bless, to protect, to love some more, to teach, to correct, to keep on loving, to give mercy and on, and on.
It makes me want to sing "Great is Your Faithfulness" with a little more passion next time! Thank you, Lord, for your eternal faithfulness!!!!
